5 Good Points Trump Made in His Foreign Policy Speech

President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a stern warning to Hamas, demanding the terrorist organization release the remaining hostages from the October 7 horrors or face “consequences.”

The message came in a Truth Social post over the weekend, where Trump declared his statement to be the group’s “last warning.”

“Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well. I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!” Trump wrote.

“It’s 20 people but I think of the 20 there could be some that have recently died is what I’m hearing. I hope that’s wrong,” Trump said from the Oval Office. “We know that at least 30 people are dead, and we are negotiating to get them out.”

Trump also noted the challenges in securing the release of those still alive, suggesting that it would likely involve significant concessions. “When you get down to the final 10 or 20, you’re not gonna get them out unless you’re gonna do a lot and doing a lot means capitulation,” he remarked.

The Daily Wire reports that meanwhile, Israel has intensified its military campaign in Gaza. On Saturday, Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Avichay Adraee urged residents of Gaza City to leave specific areas ahead of an expected strike.

“The Defense Army will attack the building soon due to the presence of Hamas terrorist infrastructure inside or near it,” Adraee announced in a post on X. “For your safety, you are required to evacuate building immediately southward toward the humanitarian zone in Mawasi Khan Younis.”

His warning came shortly after Hamas released video clips of two hostages taken during the October 7, 2023, attacks. The footage showed Guy Gilboa-Dalal in late August appealing for his freedom, and Alon Ohel on the day he was abducted nearly two years ago.
