President Trump is making his move. After carefully evaluating Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s performance, Trump announced Wednesday evening that he will nominate Blanche to permanently lead the Department of Justice. The decision comes as no surprise to those who have watched Blanche fearlessly battle the Democrats’ unprecedented weaponization of our justice system, according to Fox News.

Speaking at a Rose Garden Club Dinner, Trump made it crystal clear where he stands. “Tomorrow I’m instructing Dan [Scavino] and everybody else that’s involved in that very complicated process, which is gonna go, I think, very quickly, that we are going to make him permanent Attorney General,” the President declared in a video posted by White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino. This isn’t just another political appointment. This is Trump putting someone he trusts completely in charge of cleaning up the mess left by years of partisan prosecution.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Blanche stepped into the acting role after former Attorney General Pam Bondi’s departure in early April, and he’s already proving his worth. Trump himself confirmed what many suspected during a Pod Force One podcast interview, praising Blanche’s reception and performance. “I wanted to see how he’s received. You know, we put him as acting, and he’s done a very good job, but I’ve known him a long time,” Trump explained with characteristic directness.

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson didn’t mince words about what Blanche brings to the table. “Todd Blanche is an American patriot who fearlessly fought against the Democrats’ unprecedented lawfare campaign on behalf of President Trump,” she stated. “The President’s entire team at the Department of Justice is doing a great job advocating for sanity, law and order, and policies that keep Americans safe.” That’s exactly the kind of leadership America needs at Justice.

Now comes the Senate confirmation process, where Blanche will need to secure the votes. Given that he was already confirmed as the Justice Department’s second-in-command by a 52-46 margin, the path looks clear. Trump is once again showing Americans what decisive leadership looks like, putting the right person in the right place at exactly the right time.
